Callum Griffin Pass Huddersfield

Congratulations to Callum Griffin from Linthwaite, Huddersfield, on passing his practical Driving test on the 26th June 2018. Callum came to JTSOM after failing his test with another driving school. After reading some of reviews on our website he felt that our client-centered approach fitted more to his way of processing things. He has just graduated from Huddersfield University and wanted to learn to drive so he can make the daily journey to his workplace in Liverpool under his own steam.
Callum had to battle though test day nerves, but with hard work in his driving lessons, determination, help, and guidance from his driving instructor Phil Robinson, it paid off.

All the best from Phil and all the team at JT School of Motoring

Bethany Todd Test Pass Huddersfield

Congratulations to Bethany Todd of Longwood, Huddersfield on passing her Driving Test 1st time with just a couple of driver faults. She was very nervous, and wasn't helped by having her test cancelled at short notice because an Examiner was unavailable. However, she made a special trip up from Uni, had a driving lesson in Huddersfield the evening before, then took the test first thing Friday morning. The Examiner even complimented her on the drive.
It was a bit of a race against time. Beth's sister Laura 17th birthday the same day, and had her first lesson booked at 2pm. Beth was determined to pass her driving test before her sister started to learn how to drive. And she managed it with 4 hours to spare!!!
Very well done Beth, from your Driving Instructor John Thomas, and all the team at JT School of Motoring.

Paige Watson

Driving Instructor Huddersfield

Congratulation to Paige Watson from Birkby on passing your practical driving test at the first attempt.

You came to JTSOM with your confidence badly knocked by your previous instructor and asked me if I thought you would pass your test by September 2018. My answer was that I thought you would be ready for your test  around January 2018. You passed on the 1st February 2018 after only 10 lessons with me.

Again well done Paige and enjoy your newly found independence.

Best wishes from your Driving Instructor Keith Garlick and all the team at JT School of Motoring.

Chance Hancock

Many congratulations to Chance Hancock from Kirkheaton on passing his driving test. At least we managed to do it before the snow started again. Last time it started snowing half an hour before the start of the test, so it got canceled.

The examiner was impressed with your driving, so was I. It just took a bit of convincing you that you could do it.

I'll be watching out for you around Kirklees in your works van, so let me know when you get one.

Well done from your Driving Instructor john, and all the team at JT School of Motoring

Amelia Sierant

Congratulations Amelia “The Machine” Sierant  on passing her practical driving test with only a couple of minor driving faults.

You were a slow burner at the start, making a lot of strange noises and comments like “we’re gonna die” at every tricky situation you came across. BUT by the end, you were at a very high standard, hence the nickname The Machine. Good luck with whatever the future brings, it was a joy to teach you.

All the best from your Driving Instructor Keith Garlick and all the team here at JT School of Motoring.

The most important criteria for me when choosing who I was going to take my driving lessons in Huddersfield with was pupil reviews. Positive recommendations from past students are a must. I also wanted to be sure that my driving instructor had bags of patience and was right up to date because of the new driving test format.

Compared to my previous instructor, I found the lessons to be much more thorough, and I feel I made faster and more consistent progress. The lessons were well planned and systematic, so I knew exactly what we were doing, and what was expected from me.

My sister is now learning with JT School of Motoring!

Cannot recommend JT School of motoring enough. John was recommended to me by a friend after a very good experience and I was not disappointed at all. John is an outstanding teacher who works at a pace you can deal with, your own learning dictates the pace which to me, is ideal.

It's worth noting that if you compare prices with other teachers, JT School of motoring may appear a little more on the surface of things, but this is more than made up for by the inclusion of theory software to help you through and the fact that John is such a good teacher.

After failing three previous tests with another instructor, I decided to try someone new. I saw a JT School of Motoring car while out and about and decided to enquire. Keith Garlick took me for an initial assessment to see where I was going wrong. Following this we discussed a clear action plan. Keith’s instructions were clear, structured and extremely helpful in ironing out any creases that were causing me to fail.

Thanks to all Keith’s help and support, 5 weeks later I passed my practical, my first one with JTSOM ! I truly believe this is down to the excellent teaching style and the belief keith had in me. He really gave me the confidence that I needed to get me through.

I chose JT School of Motoring because a family member had passed with them a while ago. Additionally, their pupil reviews were excellent. I had never sat behind the wheel of a car before, so I found it a little nerve wracking. However, my Driving Instructor Keith Garlick quickly got me to start feeling confident as his teaching methods were second to none.

I would have no hesitation in recommending JT School of Motoring to anyone. Keith was very friendly and honest and made the whole process easier than I expected. Overall, I was very happy with the customer service and the whole experience. I can’t think of any way it could be improved.

My brother passed his driving test first time with JT School of Motoring and said that they were very good. Their reputation was good, and the reviews on their website were very encouraging.

I had never driven before, and thought it would be quite easy. I was wrong – in fact it was quite challenging at times. But my Driving Instructor, Keith Garlick, Helped me all the way through. His teaching methods were very clear and understandable.

I definitely would recommend JT School of Motoring to anyone thinking of starting to learn to drive who wants to pass first time. Their teaching methods are excellent.

I tried to think of something that could be done to improve the teaching or customer services, but couldn’t think of anything.

I found J T School of Motoring after extensively searching the internet and looking at reviews. Their reviews were very good

Really important criteria for me when choosing a Driving School was that they would prepare me to be a safe driver. I also took a major interest in the pass rate of the School. I received recommendations from friends when researching too. Learning to drive was a much more fun and a lot less scary than I expected.

My Driving Instructor John Thomas was amazing and was always calm. We worked at my learning pace which helped my confidence a huge amount. Overall the service was excellent and I also liked the ease of payment, with the block bookings being especially good.
